Southampton will seek to offload Emmanuel Mayuka, Tadanari Lee, Billy Sharp and other fringe players when the season comes to a end.

Zambian striker Mayuka was one of former boss Nigel Adkins’ big signings last summer when he joined in a 4million euros move from Swiss side Young Boys in August but the forward has failed to make an impact in the Premier League.

Sharp is currently on loan at Nottingham Forest and should secure a permanent exit in the summer, while Japan international Lee will also be placed on the transfer list.

Veteran defender Danny Butterfield is out on loan at Bolton Wanderers and the 33-year-old is also being lined up for a summer exit, while former Bolton loanee Steven de Ridder is also expected to depart.

It comes as little surprise to hear that manager Mauricio Pochettino is looking to reshape the Saints side after replacing Adkins in January and reports suggest up to 15 players could be heading for pastures new when the transfer window reopens.
